Grandpa's Grandfather Clock

It's a Heirloom Party and I'm sharing a special heirloom that stands in my living room. In my Grandpa's retirement he would spend time in a small shed/workshop in his backyard. He enjoyed working with wood and building things. He made many things , but for a few years he just made clocks. I am very lucky to own the largest clock he ever made and a Fiddle clock too.

Today I share Grandpa's Grandfather clock...He even painted the face. He signed each clock he made with a pretty stone to dot the 'i".

His name was John Hill.

Be sure to see other wonderful heirlooms today at Marie's Heirloom Party by clicking on the button in my side bar.

Hello Heidi - thank you for joining the party! I absolutely love your Grandfather clock! It's beautiful. And so precious and sentimental to you, I know. How sweet that he signed his name and used a crystal to dot the "i" - I love that!

Blessings,
Marie
