The First Pink Lady of TV

I know who you mean...You know the rich lady who wears pink, whats her name?? She lived on a farm with all the funny men, you know?? Green Acres! She always wore big jewelry and a boa, I know...Zsa Zsa!! No it's her sister Eva, "darling". I found some great shots to share, I passed on the promotional pictures when she posed in green. (what were they thinking, green?) anyway enjoy.
I ran out of time or I would have pulled up a shot from a visit to the Love Boat, oh well and maybe that was Zsa Zsa anyway. This last shot of Eva is my favorite, nothing like a great black and white. I will let you imagine the dog and robe are pink...for more pink fun join Beverly at Pink Saturday by clicking on the picture in the side bar.

(a little Zsa Zsa, Eva want to be)

Happy Pink Saturday, Darling!

She is so funny and over the top, but she has truly found her signature style and it's pink. God bless her. Would that we could all live our lives so freely!
Happy Pink Saturday to you!

What a great lady – a style all her own, pink of course! I used to love Green Acres but I always thought it was Zsa Zsa, you learn something new every day. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Heidi, just popping in before w leave for Austin.

I love Eva, my sister Cyndi and I always pretended to be Lisa Douglas and we even mastered her accent "schveetheart!" I can't imagine her in anything but a Pink Boa! I'm with Abby, I loved Eva the best!

Ava Gabor was the only 1 of the 3 that actually was an actress. I'm not sure what the other 2 did. It's a mystery..LOL!

Have a great Pink Weekend!

Thank you for stopping by to welcome me to my first Pink Saturday. I have to say I was amazed by the number of posts. I think I only made it around to about half of them but I am still working on it. I love the Gabor sister and their mom I think was "Magda" was just like them.

Very clever post. I remember watching Green Acres and could relate completely to Eva's character not wanting to live on a farm - especially coming from a big city. That was quite the era, pink poodles and all. Yikes.

Happy Pink Saturday to you, too.

What a fun post. I loved the way Lisa pronounced her husband, Oliver's name. When she looked at him and said "Oli vuur" in that seductive voice, he was putty in her hands. The picture of the pink poodle is hilarious....can you believe people actually dyed their dogs?

Best Wishes,
Kay
