Spring Forward

We had our first taste of Spring today. The snow seems to be disappearing and birds were everywhere. The weather was beautiful. It was a day that makes you believe Spring is on the way and the tulips planted in the fall will bloom. The little town of Gardiner was buzzing with the hope of Spring. I want more, more, more days like today...to share with happy hopeful people.
I think she is referring to the snow and bitter winds....Spring forward!

I have found all kinds of new and wonderful blogs as a result of joining in Pink Saturday. My favorite post so far, was one on Hollywood Regency style. Take a look at Tristan's blog he is having a give-a-way too. http://tristanrobin.blogspot.com/ He is celebrating 50 followers! ( notice the owl umbrella stand in the foreground of the first photo on Tristan's pink post,hmmm......look familiar? It's available at HiHo! )

PINK SATURDAY

Today is HiHo's 1st Pink Saturday.

I have shared my personal love for all things pink in the past. Remember the post of my Christmas tree at home, on Dec. 20th?? Today I celebrate with shots from my home again. I spent the week gathering photos of my pink treasures. The hardest part was choosing/editing back and picking just a few to share this week. You see... I plan on sharing more in the future.

This is part of my Hull pottery collection,it represents over 28 years of my love for pink.
A sachet that was a Mothers Day gift nearly 15 years ago.
The front door rug with yesterdays mud boots.

The coffee table tray.

Vintage toy lamb, next to rose fabric covered sewing box.

A gathering of treasures on top of the entertainment cabinet.

Next time I will do all shots from the shop! So stayed tuned...

I have enjoyed Beverly's Pink Saturdays since I happened across a participating blog a few weeks ago. She encourages blogs to post all things pink on Saturdays, which results in tons of photos of pink treasures throughout the blog community.
To continue having fun take a look at Beverly's blog...
